Bericht zum Austausch Tullyvallen-Anderten

Am Donnerstag, 13.06. war es nun endlich soweit: nachdem wir im Januar 2023 in Nordirland zu Gast waren, durften wir nun unsere Freunde der Tullyvallen Rangers in Anderten begrüßen. Die Verspätung des Fliegers und die damit verzögerte Ankunft unserer Gäste trübte die Stimmung nicht, sodass wir ab dem frühen Nachmittag bei Grillbuffet und kalten Getränken das Wiedersehen feierten! Im Anschluss ging es noch in das berühmt und berüchtigte “Borsalino”.
On Thursday 13 June, the time had finally come: after visiting Northern Ireland in January 2023, we were now happy to welcome our friends from Tullyvallen Rangers to Anderten. The delayed arrival of our guests did not dampen our enthusiasm, so we celebrated the reunion from the early afternoon with a barbecue buffet and cold drinks! Afterwards, we went to the famous “Borsalino”.
Am Freitag ging es dann mit der Bahn nach Wolfsburg um die Autostadt zu besuchen. Nach einem tollen Vormittag und Mittagessen im Restaurant “Beef Club” ging es zum Nachmittag wieder zurück nach Hannover. Das Eröffnungsspiel der EM 2024 Deutschland vs. Schottland schauten wir im “Brauhaus” an. Das Ergebnis befeuerte die Stimmung natürlich, sodass bis in die frühen Morgenstunden gefeiert wurde.
On Friday, we travelled by train to Wolfsburg to visit the Autostadt. After a great morning and lunch in the “Beef Club” restaurant, we returned to Hanover in the afternoon. We watched the opening game of Euro 2024 Germany vs. Scotland in the “Brauhaus”. The result of course boosted the mood, so we celebrated until the early hours of the morning.
Ganz traditionell stand am Samstagvormittag das internationale Freundschaftsspiel SF Anderten vs. Tullyvallen Rangers FC an. Neben Spaß und Fairness bescherte uns das Spiel ganze 8 Tore – der Endstand lautete 6:2 für Anderten.
In keeping tradition, the international friendly match between SF Anderten and Tullyvallen Rangers FC took place on Saturday morning. In addition to fun and fair play, the game brought us 8 goals – the final score was SF Anderten 6:2 Tullvallen Rangers FC.
Im Anschluss ging es zum Bierbike fahren. Die Kolone aus 4 Bikes fuhr einmal um den Maschsee.
Afterwards we went for a beer bike ride. The convoy of 4 bikes rode once around the Lake “Maschsee”.
Der Samstagabend wurde zuerst im “Dublin Inn” Irish Pub eingeläutet und später in den weiteren Bars, Kneipen und Clubs ausklingen lassen.
Saturday evening began in the “Dublin Inn” Irish pub and was later rounded off in the other bars, pubs and clubs.
Am Sonntag war es “time to say goodbye”. Nach einem gemeinsamen Frühstück im Vereinshaus wurden die Gäste verabschiedet und per Shuttle zum Flughafen gebracht. Ein unfassbares und ereignisreiches Wochenende endete. Wir freuen uns auf das nächste Mal im Jahr 2025, wenn es für uns wieder Richtung Nordirland geht!
On Sunday it was “time to say goodbye”. After breakfast together in the clubhouse, the guests were taken to the airport by shuttle. An incredible and eventful weekend came to an end.
We are looking forward to the next time in 2025, when we will be travelling to Northern Ireland again!
